Welcome to the 2025-2026 season! Systems are set and ready to go for you to become a Penya Barcelonista Washington DC member or to renew your membership for this season. We are embarking on a new venture with CHANT and your membership is now being handled through its application.

Start in the registration page whether you are a new member or renewing your membership. Select the corresponding type of membership:

Individual (New): $35

Individual (Renewal): $25*

Family (New): $70 (2 adult members + dependent children)

Family (Renewal): $50*

After you complete the purchase of the membership package, the “Thank you” page will have links to download the Chant app. You will then be able to “Register” in the app and create a Chant Profile.

We also strongly encourage you to sign up in the official members registry of FC Barcelona. Please visit the FCB’s Official Penya Membership Registry page for more information.

Written instructions:

Once you download the application (see QR codes above), provide your name, email, and phone number, and after you will be asked to select a group and you should see our Penya’s logo. Click on “Continue” and you will be taken to our Penya’s screen. Initially, there is a welcome page that you can close or leave open. Further below, you will see your account email and an option to “Create Profile” where you can add photos to your profile. But we also need you to add some relevant information. At the upper right-hand side corner of the screen, you will see a little icon (a white circle with a sideways half-moon below) that will take you to your full profile. Click on the pencil at the bottom of the page to update your profile: add your mailing address (under “Group Membership”) as well as other relevant information and upload up to five photos too. There are a couple of fields that appear by default, like “Chapter”, “Official Club Member#” (the number FC Barcelona assigns to you if you become their “soci”) and “Season tickets” that you can leave blank. Once you have updated your profile, click on the check mark on the bottom right, or scroll down to “Save Profile” and click on it. Under the same Profile icon, you can see your digital member card and in “Settings” you can set “Language”, “Notifications” and other relevant information.

Back on the home screen, the next scheduled matches will show up at the very top followed by some stats and standings. But there are also other options to check out at the bottom of the screen, including “Schedule” where you can see a list of all of the upcoming matches (exact schedules TBD). The list is updated as other matches (e.g., Champions League and Copa del Rey) are added. There is also a “More” option that will open up other sections like “Our Chants” (cheers and songs to sing at games), Partners (DC Scores and Partnership for Kids), Store (see what you can purchase as a member) and others which we will use in the near future. As you can see there is a lot to learn, so please play around with the app!

*Membership renewal policy and grace period for renewals

• Membership renewals are available for a lower price than that of an introductory membership and include all of the same benefits. Periodically the penya will offer a renewal gift.
• Members are eligible for the lower, renewal rate when maintaining their membership consecutively from season to season without interruption.   
• Exception: A previous member (individual or family), who only missed one previous season, may renew at the lower consecutive renewal rate.  
• When membership has lapsed for more than one season, individuals/families must re-join the penya with a new membership.
